apologies for the grainy post in advance x loved the print on my skirt as it reminded me so much so of Ted Bakers floral pieces from last year so went ahead and skirted the material which I was over the moon about! Also just a little tip, some of you might recognize the necklace as one of H&M’s infamous neon pieces lol its the same one but I just painted over the neon with a nude nail varnish as I know myself and my colour palettes and that I’d def wear it more if was neutralized so voila! xx

Our school has a media room where classes go to watch movies as a ‘treat’ and it’s also used as a spare room if any teachers need. We wanted to decorate and jazz it up a bit and I had the idea of transforming the room into an Arabian tent sort of. Instead of using regular wallpaper for the walls, I made a morrocan style stencil which was traced and painted on a lot of paper which was then put on the walls. I was uber excited as last year it was a mission to stick the smallest thing up on the wall and this year its more along the lines of ‘the bigger, the better’! Anyhow, my TA is also into arts and crafts and drawing like meself so we get on quite well lol I put together the Aladdin and Genie Lamp and she did the tiger which turned out kinda cool. We draped the fabric from the ceiling, material was bought for the floor seating, and voila! Pictures don’t do it justice, but the reaction from the girls as they entered the room for the first time was priceless! xo.
After looking into the frank coffee body scrub (@frank_bod) I did a bit of googling and found an easy ‘recipe’ if you will on making your own! To my understanding it’s meant to reduce the appearance of cellulite and leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. Wasn’t too into the cellulite bit lol but we could all do with smoother softer skin yes?!
What you’ll need:
1 cup of coffee granules
1 tbsp of sea salt
1tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp olive oil
(Optional: you can also add some rose water, coconut oil, or vanilla essence if you’d like!)
Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl until it becomes one.
Add the oil and mix until you’ve got a grainy/scrubby consistency.
Place in a container or jar and you’re good to go!
Scoop out a bit and massage into your skin in a circular motion. Leave on for about 5 minutes and wash with warm water.
I’ve been using it in the shower and I have to admit it’s quite messy lol but it definitely leaves your skin uber soft afterwards!
Let me know how you get on if you do decide to have a go at it! xo.
